St. Luke’s Church gathers for its annual ministry meeting January 29, 2017, at noon. This is a time to hear of the great work accomplished in 2016 and to look forward to our common ministry in the coming year. There is much to share, so please be there.
At the Annual Meeting we elect new vestry members. We have openings for three new members for full, 3-year terms, and one new member for a 1-year term. Vestry members are expected to attend the vestry retreat (usually in February) and vestry meetings (second Sundays of the month at 9 a.m.), and participate as a leader in an area of ministry where your gifts are needed. If you are curious about vestry service and are an active, baptized member of St. Luke’s, please talk to Fr. Kevin or one of our wardens, Mark Fredericksen or Nicole Torres, right away.
We also elect alternate delegates to Diocesan Convention at the Annual Meeting. Delegates represent St. Luke Church at Regional Meetings a couple times per year and at Convention—a Friday afternoon and Saturday in November.
