Sunday, September 17 marks Homecoming Sunday at St. Luke Church. While we remain in Ordinary Time in our liturgical calendar, the winding down of summer and look toward Autumn marks a new season in our life together: a season of return, of homing, and the new life it brings.
Homecoming Sunday marks a new time in our life together as summer gives way to Autumn. While we remain in Ordinary Time, this change of seasons is reflected in our liturgy. On Sept. 17, we debut a new mass setting composed for St. Luke’s by our friend, Charles Rus. The Psalmtone and Antiphon, Alleluia, Sanctus, and Fraction hymns are all new creations.
