English Fête
11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Bring the whole family to St. Luke’s annual English Fête for an afternoon of food, games, and music. The fête will feature sweet and savory English faire, carnival games, Morris dancing, Celtic music, beer and cider, and raffles.
Games include a crockery smash, “Splat the Rat,” wet sponge throwing, a fishing game, and “Coconut Shy.” We’ll also fill a mini cooper with balloons—guess the number of balloons and win Husky football tickets to the Oct. 20 game against Colorado!
Everyone is invited!
High Tea RSVP
Sun-dappled tables in the shade of a kiwi tree, and dazzling dahlias in bloom swaying in the soft September breeze. Such are the things of high tea served in the brimming parish garden. St. Luke’s High Tea offers a lucky few a sumptuous, traditional English tradition, elegantly served with linens, china, and gleaming silver. Savories, finger sandwiches, tarts, scones, and clotted cream made from scratch are a few of the included delicacies.
$15/person, $10/child. Optional mimosa upgrade for an additional $5. Two limited seatings are available, one at 11:30 a.m. and again at 1:30 p.m.
