First-Time Visitors
You already have a place in the heart of God. But a still, small voice may be calling you to check out St. Luke’s Church in Renton. We would welcome you.
You’ll find St. Luke’s large enough for anonymity if you seek it, and small enough to be noticed as an individual if you desire community. Dress is casual; come in a way that makes you feel yourself. If a suit suits you, that’s great, but don’t be offended if you’re the only one. We have open communion at St. Luke’s, and you are welcome to participate at whatever level you feel comfortable.
Children
Children of all ages are an important part of our St. Luke’s community. We offer a Montessori-style Sunday School (ages 4–9) and other opportunities for children to participate in parish life.
If your child grows restless during the liturgy and needs a place to live exuberantly, we have a downstairs room available to you and your child. It has a rocking chair, toys, and a speaker so you can continue to listen to the liturgy.
All St. Luke’s staff and volunteers have completed a Safeguarding God’s Children course.
Getting Here
We have a parking lot behind the church, accessible via Williams Avenue. Street parking is also available along Wells Avenue.
For those for whom stairs are a deterrent, we have an elevator in the southwest corner of the building, accessed through the courtyard.
