Liturgies
At St. Luke Church worship is the main thing. We are a 21st-century church living at the edge of modern consciousness, and we celebrate the divine presence evoked in ancient and modern forms of worship. Our primary liturgies are celebrations of the Holy Eucharist (Mass) shared with all who hunger for God.
Sundays
We celebrate our lives in Christ, proclaiming an authentic faith for real people. We proclaim God’s love for all through ritual, song, prayer, scripture, silence, beauty, and communion.
Wednesdays
This intimate, meditative liturgy begins with the Episcopal evening office (Evening Prayer) and continues with communion. We gather in the sanctuary (altar area) of the church for this half-hour liturgy. A half-hour of silent meditation begins at 6:00 pm. (The Wednesday liturgy is currently suspended).
Seasonal Liturgies
St. Luke Church’s seasonal liturgies are celebrated on the solstices and equinoxes through the year. Through music and poetry, ritual and movement, and often beer and wine, we acknowledge the beauty of the natural world and the interweave of the seasons with our own spiritual lives. All are welcome!
