Children
Children of all ages are an important part of our St. Luke’s community. We offer a Montessori-style Sunday School (ages 4–9) and other opportunities for children to participate in parish life.
All St. Luke’s staff and volunteers have completed a Safeguarding God’s Children course.
Godly Play
Godly Play is our Montessori-style Sunday School. Each preschool and school-age classroom has a story-teller and a gatekeeper. They meet in the St. Timothy Chapel during the 10:30 am liturgy. (Currently on hold during the coronavirus pandemic).
Ages: 4–9
Discovery School
Our Discovery Group for youth meets every Sunday from 9:45 am to 10:25 am. These classes explore liturgy, symbolism, and meaning. (Currently on hold during the coronavirus pandemic).
Ages: 9–13
Kids’ Music
The kids of St. Luke Church play music on the second Sundays of the month. Kids learn rhythm, “groove,” and, according to their ability, play instruments on which they are becoming proficient. We have a wide range of percussion, bells, and other easily played instruments from around the world that kids at many levels can learn to play as part of featured kids music on Sunday morning.
